He is a stand-up comedian who's opened for the likes of Jerry Seinfeld, George Carlin and Paula Poundstone. If his voice sounds familiar, it's because Stein has appeared in countless commercials and narrated many books on tape. Stein's radio career began on WPAZ in Pottstown, PA where he worked as a morning newscaster, news director and announcer for high school sports teams. From there he moved in 1988 to serve as morning co-host on WRFY in southeastern Pennsylvania. "The Mike and Dave Show" broke regional rating records. The author of "The Top 102 7:20 Lists and Other Morning Show Stuff," Stein won the UPI and Philadelphia Press Association's First Place Radio Feature Awards. He has been an active volunteer on behalf of the march of dimes, Easter Seals and the United Way. Stein Productions has raised over $400,000 for local non-profit groups through comedy fundraisers.
